Taking photos at a festival for the first time!
Why hello there. It's another "report" of an "In the pit"-event that just happened last weekend.
Another email with the request of taking photos for a festival here in Germany + my references on flickr make it happen.
The festival I'm talking about is EselRock (German only, sorry), a free, open-air festival in Wesel, Germany. About 10.000 people attended EselRock this year, so it was a BIG deal for me going into the pit there! :)
I was there with a couple of my friends and we needed about 2 hours by train to get there including a heavy sunburn I got during the day, but it was totally worth it!
When I was in the pit I noticed that 1. I was the youngest photographer and 2. I was the only female photographer. I didn't really care at that point, though.
The day after I realized that 300 pictures take a lot of time to sort out and edit.
In the end, the organizer likes my pictures and you can view a few of them at their Facebook page.
So here are some of the "best" pictures I took:

You can view the rest at my Flickr page.
I hope with this reference I'm able to shoot bigger concerts and festival. Fingers crossed. :D
So, I hope you like my pictures and the little write-up.
