First time in the photographer's pit!

It started with a simple question to the organizer of the Out Of The Dark Festival about taking my camera with me. Unexpected he permits it.

The best thing was that I was going to get a photographer pass, but I wasn't sure if I get into the pit with the pass. Well, I didn't really know how this all works.

I was so nervous about EVERYTHING. First, I was going to see my all time favourite band Van Canto for the 5th time live, then I wanted to sign my drawing and last but not least I was able to take photos with my super awesome camera and I didn't have to be a press person!

So on Tuesday I went to the concert and I really got the pass and the permission to go into the pit! Like WHAT?!

And all I can say: IT WAS PURE AWESOMENESS! I wanted to live in this pit for the rest of my life ... Okay, now I'm overreacting, but it was the best day in my life!

It wasn't that easy at first, because my lens has a manual focus, so I took about a million shots perhaps.

Although I was in the pit for just 3 songs for each band ( there were 4 others besides Van Canto ) I had a lot of material to edit later.

Oh and I got my drawing signed. Only one person's missing, so I have to take the drawing to the next concert in January. :)
